Photoshop Elements Crash with MacOS High Sierra Nov 21, 2017 After installing High Sierra on my Mac, Photoshop Elements 11 Editor will crash every time I try to save changes in the File Info window. I had an older version (Photoshop Elements 12) that was working poorly on a MacBook Pro after Mac OS High Sierra update. I figured it was time to upgrade. After reading many comments on web that the Amazon version didn't work, and the Apple App version didn't work, I selected the Amazon version.
The only Photoshop Elements that Adobe currently supports with updates is 15. If one purchased a Gold support contract after Jan 2014, then older PE versions under that coverage, are supported for the duration of that contract, according to Adobe in tiny footnote print.
Officially, the system requirements for PE 15 is one of Yosemite, El Capitan, or macOS Sierra. If PE 11 is installed and running, and working properly on these operating systems — then consume a quality beer. The system requirements for PE 11 are OS X 10.6.8 through 10.8.5.

There have been reports where PE 15 installed, but would not run. Apparently, booting into Recovery, and running Disk Utility first aid on the boot drive has fixed this in some cases, recently reported in this Sierra community.
